Event Photography
Aside from the Portrait and Environmental work, I also part take in commercial work like events. I do my best to treat event photography as photojournalism, documenting the event from every angle and photographing anyone and everyone attending. I’m fascinated by moments; people let their guard down when they believe no one is looking, and this is when they look their most comfortable, or they express emotions they wouldn’t normally show in front of a camera. My beginnings in shooting film has trained my brain to look for these moments, to see different perspectives and anticipating this moments to make sure I’m in the right place at the right time.
